Comment:Prince Kiril of Bulgaria, Prince of Preslav (Sofia 17 November 1895 – Sofia 1 February 1945), second son of Ferdinand I of Bulgaria and his first wife Marie Louise of Bourbon-Parma. Prince Kiril was Prince Regent of the Kingdom of Bulgaria from 1943 until 1944. Prince Kiril, General Nikola Mihov and Professor Bogdan Filov, the former Prime Minister and Regent, as well as a number of former cabinet ministers and royal advisors were sentenced to death by a "People's Tribunal" / "Naroden sad" and executed on 1 February 1945.
