Description:Panorama photograph of a large building essentially designed in the Moorish Revival architectural style. There are people on the street in front of, and around, the building.
Comment:The Synagogue was built for the Bulgarian capital's mainly Sephardic Jewish community. The planning architect was Austrian-born Friedrich Grünanger. It was officially opened on 9 September 1909 in the presence of Tsar Ferdinand I of Bulgaria.
