Description:Outdoor photograph of men in military uniforms standing in formation. Some of them are holding flags. There is one man in an Orthodox liturgical vestment, standing on an elevated platform along with a man wearing a military uniform with insignia of honour.
Comment:King Boris III, Bulgarian officers and priests at a military tattoo. St. George's Day (23 April in the Julian calendar, which corresponds to 6 May in the Gregorian calendar) is the day of the Bulgarian Army, made official by a decree of Knyaz Alexander of Bulgaria on 9 January 1880. Parades are organized in the capital Sofia to present the best of the army's equipment and manpower.
