The man is holding a cane. Verso: hand-written dedication in Bulgarian: "To Aleksander K. Stanchov from Malta and Lyubomir. Sofia, 6. November 1898."
Comment:Malta Stanchova was the sister of Poliksenia Stanchova. Poliksenia was married to Stefan Stambolov in 1888. Lyubomir Serafimov (1854 - 1942).
