Comment:Arnold Aleksandrovich von Remlingen (1841 - 1900) was an officer in the Russian Imperial and in the Bulgarian Armies. He participated in the Russo-Ottoman war of 1877 - 1878 and became the Principality of Bulgaria's Minister of the Interior (1881). He was also headmaster of the Military School in Sofia (1882 - 1884). As did other Russian officers, Remlingen left Bulgaria after the Unification of the Principality of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia in 1885.
