Comment:Bulgarian and Russian officers. In Bulgarian historiography, the term Liberation of Bulgaria is used to denote the events of the Russo-Ottoman War of 1877 - 1878 that led to the (re-)establishment of the Bulgarian state. Title is a translation of the given by the National Museum of Military History title in Bulgarian.
