Comment: | Alexander von Kaulbars (1844 - 1925) was a Russian officer, who fought in the Russo-Ottoman War (1877 - 1879), and was promoted to major general in 1879. From 1878 - 1879 A. Kaulbars was a member of the Committee for the demarcation of the borders of the Kingdom of Serbia. In 1882 Kaulbars became Minister of War of the Principality of Bulgaria.
