Comment:Milorad Popović Šapčanin (1841, Šabac – 1895, Belgrade) was Serbian realist poet, writer, dramatist, pedagogue and educational reformer. He was also the artistic director of the National Theatre in Belgrade (1877 and 1880–1893) and a member of both the Serbian Learned Society and the Serbian Royal Academy of Sciences.
