Comment:Momir Korunović (1883, Glogovac – 1969, Belgrade) was one of the most influential Serbian architects in the first half of the 20th century. Momir wrote Serbian architectural history with the Post Office and Telegraph Administration building of 1930, which was one of the largest buildings in Serbia at the time. The facade is richly decorated with Masonic symbols and designs reminiscent of the Middle Ages. Critics describe the building as an example of the "Serbian style" (integrating traditional Serb-Byzantine elements), which he also employed in several other well-known buildings, such as the many culture and education centres (Sokolski Dom) he designed throughout the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
