Description:Full-length profile shot of a woman. She is standing, dressed in a dark, high-necked, floor-length dress with a lace-trimmed neckline. Her right arm is resting on a padded armchair. A painted canvas backdrop is creating the impression of the scene being set in a drawing room.
Comment:Kosara Jovanović (1867–1945) married Mihailo P. Jovanović (1855, Kragujevac – 1944, Belgrade) in 1887. Mihailo P. Jovanović was an attorney and served as Minister of Justice (1903–1905) and as head of the Court of Cassation (as of 1908).
