Description:Full-length shot of a baby wearing a white tunic with a black belt, black shoes adorned with little bows and a straw hat. The child is sitting on a wooden pedestal partly covered with a ćilim (woven tapestry-style rug). A painted canvas backdrop is creating the impression of the scene being set outdoors.
Comment:Dušan Jovanović was one of four children of Darinka and Milan Jovanović. Milan Jovanović (1863, Vršac – 1944, Belgrade) was one of the most influential photographers of his generation and worked as a court photographer in his studio in Belgrade.
