Object:Elderly woman holding a child
Description:Full-length portrait of a seated elderly woman in town attire, wearing a wide floor-length dress, a 'libade' (traditional short-sleeved velvet jacket/yelek) and a 'šamija' (traditional cap for married women). Her left elbow is resting on a small wooden table. She is holding a small child on her lap. The girl is wearing a'dolama' (jacket-like coat). In the background a curtain is partially covering a painted canvas backdrop depicting a park.
Comment:Probably a grandmother with her grandchild.
