Object:Portrait of a young girl in Süleyman Seba Street
Description:Portrait of a young girl with short hair on Süleyman Seba Street. The girl is wearing sandals and a short sleeveless dress with a white collar, and is carrying an umbrella patterned in the same style as the dress. She is walking towards the camera, directly looking into the lens. The paving of the sidewalk is damaged. The Akaretler Sıraevleri is in the background.
Comment:The photograph was probably taken by a press photographer on the occasion of Çocuk bayramı. On 3 August 1930, Akşam newspaper featured a short article stating that in this year, the fashion of carrying sunshades has been passed over from ladies to the children.
