Description:The picture shows the interior of the ‘Tomorri’ cinema in Tirana in approximately 1940. The first floor is completely occupied, while the gallery is almost full. There is only one woman in the first-floor audience (in the background). Approximately one dozen women are seated in the gallery.background) and on the gallery approximately a dozen of women.
Comment:The inserted name ‘Luce’ (an Italian film and photo production company) indicates that the photograph was taken during the Italian occupation of Albania between 1939 and 1943.
