Description:The photograph shows a crowd in front of the Belgrade cinema, ‘Takovo’. The crowd consists mainly of men in civilian clothes with a few in uniform among them. The cinema announces the ‘first Serbian one hundred percent sound film, ‘Nevinost bez zaštite’, in the Serbian language with Serbian songs and music’. The building to the left displays the sign, ‘Leather Gallantry Karl Müller (Karlo Miler)’.
Comment:The feature film ‘Nevinost bez zaštite’ (Innocence unprotected) was produced and directed by Dragoljub Aleksić in 1943 when Serbia was under German military government.
