Object:Serbian cinema-owners and film producers Boža (1862–1927), Pera (1868–1925) and Svetolik (1874–1944) Savić
Description:The three brothers Boža (l.), Pera (m.) and Svetolik (r.) are posing for an atelier photograph. They are similarly dressed in dark jackets and white shirts with banded collars and neckties and have their hair styled in a similar fashion. Boža and Svetolik wear beards, Pera a moustache.
Comment:The handwritten surname on the bottom left is Blavić; the first name is perhaps an abbreviation of Jaroslav. The brothers owned the ‘Moderni bioskop’ cinema, were editors of the ‘Mali žurnal’ (Little journal) newspaper and produced the feature ‘Jadna majka’ (Poor mother) in 1912.
