He was also a member of the Bulgarian Literary Society (renamed "Bulgarian Academy of Sciences" in 1911). Vasil Zlatarski (1866 - 1935) was a Bulgarian historian and medievalist, archaeologist, and epigraphist. He was a professor at, and vice president of, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (1926 - 1935).
